Singapore was smashing.
And so was Rinkoo Bhowmik of buzzzar and her team…..who, along with the former Pakistan High Commissioner to Singapore Mr. Sajjad Ashraf, created a series of highly successful screenings of The Sky Below for diverse audiences in the city-state. More to come.

Just a year ago one of the most potent political forces was assassinated. It was a most horrific culmination to an already horrific year for Pakistan, ironically labeled ‘Visit Pakistan Year 2007′. 2008 ushered in new promises, but by the close of this year, traditional animosity between India and Pakistan was once again heightened to the point of a possible war.
A look back at the time this photo was taken in the 1980s.
